Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Hāloa Flow (the "App"), provided by Pocket Help LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Hāloa Flow, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Hāloa Flow is a personal daily-briefing and executive-assistant app that helps you stay informed, prepared, and organized by surfacing relevant calendar events, emails, and reminders throughout your day. Some features are available to all users; others ("Premium" features) require an active paid subscription.

Eligibility

Hāloa Flow is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and you must be at least 13 years old to use it. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Your Account and Connected Services

To use most features, you connect one or more email and/or calendar accounts (Google, Microsoft, or another provider via IMAP). You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of the credentials for those accounts

  • Any activity that occurs through your connected accounts as a result of actions you take in the App

  • Ensuring you have the right to connect any account you add

You may disconnect a connected account at any time from within the App, or revoke Hāloa Flow's access directly through your provider's account settings.

AI-Assisted Features

Hāloa Flow offers optional, subscriber-only features ("AI-Assisted Draft Replies" and "AI-Assisted Add to Calendar") that use an AI language model to draft suggested content based on a specific email you've flagged. You understand and agree that:

  • AI-generated drafts and extracted event details may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, and are provided as suggestions only

  • You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated draft or event before sending it or saving it to your calendar

  • Nothing is sent on your behalf, and no event is saved to your calendar, unless you personally take that action

Subscriptions and Billing

Premium features are offered on a subscription basis. Where billing is enabled, subscriptions are billed and managed through the app store you downloaded Hāloa Flow from (such as Google Play), and are subject to that store's billing terms, including automatic renewal, cancellation, and refund policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings.

We may change Premium pricing or features with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of Premium features after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law

  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App, our servers, or other users' accounts

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by applicable law

  • Use the App to send unsolicited, abusive, or harassing communications

Intellectual Property

Hāloa Flow, including its design, features, and content we provide, is owned by Pocket Help LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App — only a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of your own content (such as your emails, calendar events, and notes) that the App accesses or processes on your behalf.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Hāloa Flow is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any suggestion, summary, or reminder it generates will be accurate or complete. You are responsible for independently verifying anything time-sensitive or important (such as meeting times, commitments, or sent replies).

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pocket Help LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or missed commitments, arising from your use of or inability to use the App — including damages resulting from an inaccurate AI-generated draft, extracted event, or missed notification.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and disconnect your accounts at any time. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, and Limitation of Liability) will continue to apply.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as Hāloa Flow evolves. Updated versions will be posted on this page, and continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawai’i, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
