Who we are

Pocket Help LLC is a Hawai‘i-based technology startup in the formative stages of developing human-centered, ambient AI experiences. Founded by Kirk Shorte, a former Apple and Sun Microsystems marketing leader, the company is building its first platform - Hāloa AI and companion mobile app, Hāloa Flow. Together, they form the foundation for a new kind of intelligent assistant that orchestrates context across calendars, email, and notifications to help users regain time, clarity, and focus.

Hāloa Flow is a context-aware assistant that helps users prioritize and stay on track, without adding noise or requiring manual setup. It helps users manage their digital inputs intelligently and surfaces what matters most at the right time. The app is powered by the Hāloa AI platform, which integrates data streams across calendars, email, wearable signals, and task lists to support decision-making and reduce distractions.

Pocket Help’s mission is to create AI systems that anticipate human needs with empathy, privacy, and restraint - reducing friction rather than adding more digital noise. Though still in early development, the company’s approach combines thoughtful design, lightweight AI, and real-world utility to redefine what it means for technology to feel helpful, calm, and truly personal.
